The Responsible Minerals Assurance Process – RMAP (formerly the
Conflict Free Smelter Program (CFSP)) was established to
cultivate transparent mineral supply chains and sustainable
corporate engagement in the mineral sector with a view to
prevent the extraction and trade of minerals from becoming a
source of conflict, human rights abuses, and insecurity.
LSM Brasil condemns all activities in connection with the illegal
exploitation of mineral resources, no matter where such activities
take place. We only purchase raw materials that are conflict-free
and that meet the requirements of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance
and RMAP for Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and
High-Risk Areas.
