AMG Brazil operates in three segments:critical minerals, special materials and energy.
Committed to the maximum quality of its products, the company produces
and globally markets materials of certified origin, which are already
revolutionizing the present and will shape the future. Among the critical
minerals, that is, minerals available in nature in limited quantities,
are spodumene and tantalum concentrates, tin in ingots and feldspar.
Special materials include high-performance aluminum
alloys, deoxidizers and grain refiners, while the
chemical plant is dedicated to the production of
tantalum and niobium oxides, Altab, cryolite, fluxes and
salts.In the energy segment, it has a hydroelectric plant that powers
the company’s activities in the municipality of São João del-Rei
(Minas Gerais, Brazil).
